How we help.
Family Law Clinic
Dads House holds a weekly Family Law clinic offering practical and free legal advice, which is led by Simon Bruce. “One of the best family lawyers in the country”
Chambers NHW 2020.
Local Support Payments
For over 6 years, Dads House, in partnership with RBKC, has helped with the purchase of household and white goods. For those that qualify, the Council pays for the cost of these purchases. This has been particularly helpful for those that are disabled or housebound
Food Bank
Dads House runs a community food bank open to all families supporting children. It’s open every day during the week from 10 am till 1 pm.
Clubs and Groups
The Breakfast Club has been going for 7 years. Everyone is fed, allowing for any special dietary needs. The Breakfast Club provides a mutual support network for fathers to share their experiences and help others. Dads Ouse also runs a lunch club every Tuesday.
Combating loneliness
Dads house runs yoga classes and from February Dads Table - a safe space for fathers to come and meet and share their experiences
Drug and Alcohol Testing
The testing is available to all as part of Dads House mission to help families. This service has recently expanded to also include blood testing. The testing happens in a social setting giving fathers the opportunity to discuss their concerns and seek referral to the Law Clinic as needed.
