Dads House COVID-19 report 2020

Our ‘Dads House COVID-19 report’ summarises some of the work that Dads House has done to help families during the COVID-19 Crisis.

2020 was an extraordinary year for Dads House, marking 12 years since the charity was first founded.  The advent of the coronavirus has changed the breadth of our operations substantially, and so, over the pandemic, certain projects were forced to pause, and we began to function primarily as a food bank, with no specific target demographic. 

Dads House set up and ran our first ever major food bank operations, to support all families, both in Elephant and Castle and Kensington and Chelsea. With the generous help and support of our partners and supporters, we were able to gather equipment and set up 2 fully functioning food banks to help everyone who came to us for food and emotional support during these very testing times.
